COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:

Pistol 2

Pistol 2 is a fighting class. It builds on the previous skill sets, with the emphasis on rapid, multiple hits on single and multiple targets, shooting on the move and strong hand / weak hand unsupported shooting. It will include a lowlight shoot on TD1.

A previous Pistol 1 or equivalent class is mandatory - this is not an entry level class and students are expected to be proficient at basic weapon manipulation and marksmanship. Email if you have questions.

Equipment:

A serviceable pistol revolver, .38 Special / 9x19mm or larger

5 magazines / speed loaders

750 rounds of serviceable ammunition

A strong side hip holster. Inside the waistband holsters, shoulder holsters, etc. are not permitted

A magazine pouch to hold at least two magazines

Serviceable flashlight with spare batteries and bulbs

Eye and ear pro

Baseball type hat

Sunscreen

Clothing appropriate for the season

Carbine 2 Course

This class is not a shooting course—it is a fighting course, and is moderately physical. EAG Tactical has a strict credentialing policy - to participate, one of the following credentials is required with your application and deposit or full payment.

    CCW/CWP/Pistol License (any state)

    Active Duty Police ID

    Active Duty Military ID

Carbine 2 is a 3 day carbine operators course with the addition of two (2) Low Light Shoots.

TD1 & TD2 will be approximately 10-12 hours each day.  TD3 will be approximately 8 hours.

You will need to be in reasonable physical shape.

Students are required to have a carbine mounted white light and a hand held white light, with an extra set of batteries and bulbs for each.

A pistol mounted light is not required, but recommended.

Ammo Requirements:

5.56mm - 1500 rounds

Pistol - 250 rounds

See "What to Bring," Carbine Operators Course Overview
Also bring a minimum of two (2) Chem Lights - preferably red or green - not blue

Equipment:

- A serviceable 5.56x45, 5.45x39 or 7.62x39mm carbine. What you bring is not as important as the fact that it works. Having a spare extractor/spring is not a bad idea. Bring the lube of your choice. But bring lube.

- A minimum of 7 serviceable magazines for the carbine. More are obviously better – the less jamming of magazines you do during the day, the more time you learn how to fight.

- 1500 Rounds of serviceable carbine ammunition - 250 Rounds pistol ammunition.

- The carbine needs a sling. A tac sling works better, but any sling will do.

- A means to carry at least four (4) carbine magazines on your person.

- If you have a red dot sight, bring spare batteries.

- A serviceable pistol, with three serviceable magazines.

- A holster and magazine pouch.

- Eye and earpro, as well as a baseball type hat.

- Water. A CamelBak is ideal, but be prepared to hydrate.

- Knee and elbow pads.

- Pen/pencil.
